To bring this sustainable furniture vision to life, Shorebird needed a wood manufacturing partner that could deliver exceptional craftsmanship, sustainability, and thoughtful attention to detail. Genimex stepped in to support the journey, partnering closely with Shorebird to manufacture the Shorebird Chair across the Southeast Asia supply chain.
Shorebird needed to manufacture a premium wooden frame with minimal visible assembly, natural materials, and stainless steel hardware, while meeting strict performance and aesthetic standards. The challenge was balancing handcrafted detail, scalability, and cost constraints typical of an early-stage brand without compromising quality or sustainability.
Genimex supported Shorebird through an iterative development process from prototyping to production, validating durability, craftsmanship, and performance through testing. A blended supply chain, anchored by on-site coordination in Vietnam and supported by Genimex’s broader supplier network, enabled efficient manufacturing. Integrated project management and quality oversight ensured the final product met Shorebird’s design, sustainability, and quality standards.
